Bridge the Gap - New Lawyer Program 2024
In response to the Rule 3 CLE Requirement, the Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar will host the Bridge the Gap: Rule 3 - New Lawyer Program. The New Lawyer Program will annually offer new lawyers four opportunities across the state to get the required twelve (12) actual hours of CLE to include six (6) hours of basic skills training and six (6) hours of ethics/professionalism.
The first program will be held on Friday, December 6 at the Oxford Conference Center, Oxford, MS. The program will offer the first six (6) hours of CLE credit of the Rule 3 CLE requirement.

8:30 – 9:30 am Ethics: Duty to Clients (EP1000)
9:30 – 10:30 am Basic Skills: Working with Clients (S1000)
10:30 – 10:40 am Break
10:40 – 11:40 am Ethics: Duty to Opposing Parties and Their Counsel (EP2000)
11:40 – 12:20 pm Lunch will be provided
12:20 – 1:20 pm Basic Skills: Law Office Management (S2000)
1:20 – 1:30 pm Break
1:30 – 2:30 pm Ethics: Duty to the Courts (EP3000)
2:30 – 3:30 pm Basic Skills: Effective Utilization of Technology (S3000)
