Bridge the Gap - New Lawyer Program 2024

In response to the Rule 3 CLE Requirement, the Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar will host the Bridge the Gap: Rule 3 - New Lawyer Program. The New Lawyer Program will annually offer new lawyers four opportunities across the state to get the required twelve (12) actual hours of CLE to include six (6) hours of basic skills training and six (6) hours of ethics/professionalism. 

The program will be held on Friday, April 26th at The Mississippi Bar Center in Jackson. The program will offer the second six (6) hours of CLE credit of the Rule 3 CLE requirement.

  8:30 am Ethics/Professionalism: Duty to Colleagues in the Practice of Law (EP4000)
  9:30 am  Basic Skills: Basic Litigation Skills (S4000)
10:30 am  Break
10:40 am  Ethics/Professionalism: Duty to the Profession (EP5000)
11:40 pm  Lunch, will be provided
12:20 pm  Basic Skills: Basic Transactional Skills (S5000)
  1:20 pm  Break
  1:30 pm  Ethics/Professionalism: Duty to the Public (EP6000)
  2:30 pm  Basic Skills: Substantive Law (S6000)
